Today, Sunday, June 12, Xbox and Bethesda are showing what’s in store for you in their showcase. As a kind of own replacement for the E3 you will find out what is planned there. MeinMMO accompanies the show for you in the live ticker so that you don’t miss anything.
When and where can I watch? The show starts today at 7:00 p.m. German time and is scheduled to last until 8:30 p.m.
Xbox has its own Twitch stream running and will also be on YouTube. MonstersAndExplosions, the joint stream from GameStar, GamePro and MeinMMO, will also accompany the event for you and offers even more information and events related to the show. The stream starts at 5:00 p.m. with the warm-up lap:
Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022 – All Trailers and Announcements
7:32 p.m.: Elder Scrolls Online: High Isles is coming to Xbox next week. Finally you can gamble the new adventure on consoles.
7:31 p.m.: Ara: History Untold looks like a new version of Humankind. What exactly is behind it? That still has to be explained to us, it only looked like a teaser at first.
19:30 o’clock: A world premiere. What is shown now?
7:29 p.m.: The Junker Queen is featured in her story cinematic. In her arena she fights against the Junker King and 2 other opponents. But the fight won’t be “fair”.
7:27 p.m.: Out of Nowhere Overwatch 2! Suddenly Blizzard comes around the corner and shows gameplay for the new shooter. And it gets even crazier!
Incidentally, Junker Queen was confirmed as the new hero, which fans had already requested for Overwatch 1. Overwatch 2 will also be completely Free2Play! And it all starts on October 4, 2022 for Xbox and PC.
7:26 p.m.: OK, that was unexpected. Halo Infinite is coming TODAY as a free Flight Simulator add-on if you’ve always wanted to fly your Spartan around in space.
7:26 p.m.: More is coming to Flight Simulator on Xbox consoles, the cloud and PC in November 2022 to mark the 40th anniversary. Looks like an extension.
7:25 p.m.: Airplanes, helicopters and beautiful landscapes – is there anything new coming to flight simulator?
7:20 p.m.: The gameplay of Forza looks really exciting. Even if you’re not into motorsport, the graphics are really stunning. Above all, a look at the forests in the background clearly blurs the boundaries between game and reality.
Forza Motorsort is meant to be a “racing reality” and that’s exactly what it looks like. With ray tracing, you can simply see your pretty car as a reflection in the paintwork of the competitor you’re overtaking.
7:18 p.m.: Forza shows up! A new Forza Motorsport trailer featuring some seriously awesome rides and classic sports cars sure to deliver fast-paced racing.
After Forza Horizon 5 is still relatively new, the new motorsport should appear in spring 2023.
The devs explain how strong the new Forza really will be. It’s said to be the “most technically advanced video game” yet, with live ray tracing and tons of graphical polish.
7:16 p.m.: The sequel to Plague Tale features new gameplay. The sibling duo must overcome new dangers.
Plague Tale: Requiem will be released in 2022.

7:13 p.m.: A big announcement! If you own the Xbox Game Pass and link it to Riot Games, you get all the heroes in League of Legends, Wild Rift and Valorant for free. There are also bonuses for Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra. Game Pass is going absolutely insane.
7:11 p.m.: An announcement about Xbox Game Pass. In the coming years, Xbox promises you over 30 new games that will appear in Game Pass next year.
7:09 p.m.: The Voice Actor for Morty from Rick & Morty introduces a new game, some wacky, wacky game with absolutely stupid guns in a wacky sci-fi setting with stuffed animals and monsters.
What the hell is happening? High On Life looks like Rick & Morty if you allow them too much. The game will be a console exclusive for the Xbox.
7:08 p.m.: The next trailer is on. Hollow Knight: Silksong, in which you play a kind of doll that has to flatten all sorts of enemies with a sewing needle.
The game is reminiscent of a 2D Metroidvania with nice drawings and lots of action. Heaps of different enemies with special abilities stand in front of you:
7:04 p.m.: Redfall shows gameplay. A group of players hunt vampires in large numbers. Apparently the bloodsuckers have locked out the sun and now people have to fight for their survival.
The trailer shows some of the playable characters with different weapons and even magical powers. Your task is to collect items and be as inconspicuous as possible – or fight well. Redfall features both action and stealth gameplay and tons of different enemies.
Some of the enemies explode, others are particularly fast. And to hold your own against them, you get crazy weapons that the bloodsuckers can simply freeze.
Then come weird “The Secret World” vibes. A doorway to another world features distorted versions of reality, more monsters, and a secret that you’re apparently tasked with uncovering.
7:01 p.m.: The streaming starts. The first trailer is running and it looks gory.
6:57 p.m.: Around 200,000 viewers are now watching the streams. The voltage increases!
6:50 p.m.: The countdown to the official stream has been on for some time and the pre-show at MonstersAndExplosions has already started.
About the Xbox Showcase
What is this event?
What we expect: There were relatively few leaks and information in advance this year. However, at least 2 major titles are under discussion. The first is Starfield, even if it won’t be released until 2023, for which gameplay should finally be shown. I have to show if there is a release date.
The second big title is Diablo 4. Beta registration for Diablo 4 started just before the stream. Since Microsoft is currently in the process of buying Diablo maker Blizzard, many fans now suspect that more information about the game will finally come tonight.

Bethesda And Xbox Bring Showcase Event In June – Is It Worth It For Fallout And Elder Scrolls Fans?
Our personal guesses and hopes include more about the new co-op game Redfall. Gameplay or even a beta date would be appropriate here.
MeinMMO author Max Handwerk is also hoping for a new Guitar Hero. The series was produced by Activision and Xbox boss Phil Spencer announced before the acquisition that he would like to revive many old classics. Maybe that’s where it starts – even if the purchase isn’t quite finished yet.
