At the end of September, Oudewater councilor Ivo ten Hagen announced that he would resign within a year. The municipality decided to publish it in the local newspaper The IJsselbode to place a call. Municipal councilor Ronald Gabriëls: “It may be unusual and some will be surprised that via The IJsselbode to look for a new councilor, but we thought this was an appropriate method.”
