Now Virtanen has recovered to such a condition that the trip to Australia towards the first grand slam tournament of the tennis year will be successful and he will travel there in good time to get used to the conditions.

In the fall, Virtanen, ranked 94th in the ATP ranking, became only the seventh Finnish man in the top 100 in the world tennis rankings.
