Other municipalities whistled back but Eemnes still introduces an income

Eemnes – Since this month, Eemnes has introduced the income test for domestic help from the Social Support Act (Wmo). That is remarkable and might even be called daring, because introducing an income test is not allowed by law. Other municipalities such as Woerden and Oudewater have recently dropped the measure because of the legal complications. IJsselstein and Leusden have also introduced the income test, which has been criticized by both the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and the courts.
