Oskarshamn fell with new coach

New voice behind the bench.
But there was no “new coach” effect for Oskarshamn against Karlskoga.
– It was horrible, I hate to lose, says Tero Lehterä in TV4.

No, it was no fun start for Oskarshamn’s new Finnish coach Tero Lehterä.

He got the toughest possible start by meeting Karlskoga in the Nobel Hall in his first match – and the first period did not hang the team at all.

Karlskoga – with ten wins in the back – played with great confidence and took the lead through a steering from Kalle Jellvert.

Dropped in after twelve seconds

Leevi Aaltonen extended to 2-0 before Hampus Plato put the third in PP.

Oskarshamn won the middle period after Carter Camper scored the only goal after a delicious forward from Zion Nybeck, but then the third was started in the worst possible way.

The match clock stood in twelve seconds when Karlskoga made 4-1.

Five out of six losses

The match ended 4-2 which means that the warm -landers now have eleven straight wins, of which nine straight three points.

For Oskarshamn, it was the team’s fifth loss in the last six matches.

– It was awful, I hate to lose. We had a tough first period. We played the wrong way and the opponent was much better in the fighting situations. The biggest difference was offensive and defensive in the support. Then it is difficult to play hockey, says Oskarshamn coach Tero Lehterä in TV4.
