Feedback sought for Chatham Kent pickleball court locations

For those aged 55 or older, the Ontario Senior Games Association provides opportunities to get active both physically and mentally.

The association’s local group, District 25 Brant-Haldimand-Norfolk, is encouraging people to get involved and maybe even qualify to represent the district at the Ontario 55+ Summer Games, Aug 9-11, in Peterborough.

District 25 is holding the following events:

• May 19, 1 pm, 5-pin bowling, Echo Lanes Brantford;

• May 20, 10 am, cards (games to be determined), Scotland Community Centre.

• May 31, 9 am, pickleball, Six Nations Sports and Cultural Memorial Center gymnasium, Ohsweken;

• May 27, noon, golf, Greens at Renton;

• May 30, 10 am, prediction walking, Six Nations Sports and Cultural Center walking track;

• June 3, lawn bowling, time to be announced, St George Lawn Bowling Club.

For darts, contact Katherine Bristol at 519-865-6454.

Organizers say tennis will be played if there is enough interest.
