This would mean that Sweden’s defense spending approached SEK 300 billion annually.
“We are struggling to understand a transatlantic relationship that crumbles in front of our eyes,” he writes, adding that Europe is now alone.
The Fogh-Rasmussen also wants Ukraine to be invited to NATO.

Erdogan about the chaos: “Stand in charge”
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan commented on Monday in a televised speech the violent demonstrations in Istanbul, quoted by the BBC with more media.
– This movement has developed into pure violence. Those who started this chaos will be held accountable, says Erdogan.
The demonstrations broke out after Erdogan’s big rival in the next presidential election, Istanbul’s mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu, was accused of embezzling large sums of money, and more.
– The opposition’s activities will soon ebb out, and they will be ashamed of the damage they have made our country, says Erdogan.
The protesters believe that Erdogan is trying to eliminate a rival.
– Instead of responding to the allegations of bribery, embezzlement and misconduct, they have spent five days the most dishonest and legally unfounded claims in our political history, says Erdogan.
