(Finance) – Orsera company listed on Euronext STAR Milan and active in the import and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables, closed 2023 with Net revenues equal to 1,540.8 million euros, an increase of 28.8% compared to 2022, with excellent growth in the Distribution BU (+33.1%), also thanks to the contribution of the French companies Blampin and CAPEXO (consolidated by 1 January 2023). Net of the change in scope, the increase in like for like turnover was equal to 6.3%, as a result of the product mix, sales channels and geographies.
L’Adjusted EBITDAequal to 107.1 million euros, shows an increase of 40.8%, and of 13.5% like for like, with an Adjusted EBITDA Margin record, equal to 7%, up 59 bps compared to financial year 2022. TheAdjusted Net Profit highlights a positive result of 54 million euros (+46%), while theNet income stands at 48.1 million euros (+48.3%).

“The Group concluded the 2023 financial year achieving very significant results – commented the CEO Raffaella Orsero – allowing us to fully achieve the Financial Guidance forecasts revised upwards during the year, thanks to the brilliant performance of the core business which saw the distribution activity generate excellent results throughout the entire financial year and the shipping sector move towards a gradual normalization compared to 2022 and the first part of 2023″.

There Net Financial Position is equal to 127.8 million euros at 31 December 2023 compared to 67.4 million at 31 December 2022, of which IFRS 16 liabilities are equal to 60.8 million (41.6 million in 2022). The increase of approximately 60.5 million relates to the overall investment linked to the acquisitions of French companies, to operational investments for 13.2 million, to the purchase of treasury shares for 4 million and to the payment of the dividend for a total of 6 million, balanced from the significant cash generation deriving from operating activities for 75.2 million.

The Board of Directors has resolved to propose to the Shareholders’ Meeting a dividend ordinary dividend of 0.60 euros per share (+71.4% vs 2022), for a total gross dividend of approximately 10,158 thousand euros. It is expected that the coupon will be ex-dividend on May 13, 2024, with a record date of May 14, 2024 and payment starting from May 15, 2024.
