Orpo: Zelenskyi was well informed about the Finnish arms industry
Orpo answers the media’s question about whether Finland, like Sweden, could start manufacturing armored vehicles in Ukraine.
Orpo tells President Zelensky that he was well aware of the Finnish arms industry and that armored vehicles are manufactured in Finland.
– The next time Ukraine organizes a conference to which private actors in the defense industry are invited, I will make sure that Finnish companies are also there.
According to Orpo, increasing the defense industry in Ukraine would be one way to increase the capacity of the European arms industry, which is currently too low.
– The war will end one day, but the threat, at least in my opinion, will not recede for a moment.
