At the end of February it was announced that Warner Bros. would officially develop new The Lord of the Rings films. Nothing is known about the content. The new works will have nothing to do with Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The actor tells GQ he’s fascinated and excited about new Lord of the Rings movies. In addition to his hope that the new strips will be good, he also says a little more critically:
