Who is Darth Revan?
In Knights of the Old Republic you play Revan as the main character. An ex-Jedi who broke away from the Jedi Order, became the Dark Sith Lord and waged a bitter war against the Jedi and the Galactic Republic. But due to amnesia, he loses his memory and is re-educated to become a Jedi and thus part of the Galactic Republic. Revan belongs to the expanded Star Wars universe, now called Star Wars Legends. Legends includes all licensed Star Wars stories set outside of the six original George Lucas films.
Revan was originally scheduled to appear in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but was canceled at the last second. In the lexicon Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary it was mentioned again in 2019 and thus reintroduced into the current canon.
