“Organizer disaster” – six plane stormers chased Ronaldo

The scandalous scenes continued even after the final whistle. When Portugal had thanked their supporters and were on their way down to the players’ tunnel, another plane stormer came in. He was handled so harshly by the order staff that Goncalo Ramos went on a slap, then limped off the field.

– This is as close to organizer disaster as you can get when it comes to protecting the players’ safety. In a championship, the players are the most important asset, and they must not be put at risk. Here it happens six or seven times over, concludes Fjellström.
