Örebro’s super chain sank Linköping

The chain was complete when Kalle Kossila was signed in earlier this autumn and together they have made Örebro one of the hottest teams in the series.

Saturday night’s 6-2 victory at home against Linköping was the Närkings’ tenth in the last twelve games – and was directed entirely by the trio.

The first goal came seven minutes into the match and was perhaps the most beautiful when Patrik Puistola freed compatriot Kossila who was ice cold in front of goal and scored the first goal.

Behind basically everything

Filip Berglund accounted for the second in a four-on-four game after an opening pass from Kossila.

And the third was paved by Patrik Karlkvist with a drive up before Kossila himself hit a wobbling puck into Jesper Myrenberg’s net.

Henrik Törnqvist reduced for LHC, but Ludvig Larsson made it 4-1 shortly afterwards and after that the home team was able to hold on and eventually win 6-2.

“Equal children play best”

Karlkvist-Kossila-Puistola was properly celebrated in TV4’s studio during the second period break.

– Equal children play best, said expert Sanny Lindström and continued:

– They are very sharp and that only strengthens my image of this chain that will thrive so incredibly well together when they become even more interconnected.

Örebro meets HV71 on Tuesday. For the LHC, Timrå awaits.
