Finally the time has come. In Wow Orcs, Humans, and all other races regardless of faction can now play together in guilds.
What is cross faction play all about? For some time now, World of Warcraft has defused the “war” in the title. Because where the Horde and Alliance factions were long enemies of each other, more international understanding is now the order of the day.
Previously, members of either faction could work together to their heart’s content if they either had a Battlenet friendship or belonged to a cross-faction community. You could set up groups together and tackle dungeons, raids or PvP arenas together.

Since this feature was very well received by the fans, the developers have promised to take the next logical step in the Dragonflight addon with patch 10.1.

The next evolutionary stage in the interaction of the WoW peoples are cross-faction guilds. These are guilds open to all playable races of Azeroth. The respective guild still formally belongs to a faction, namely that of the guild leader.

However, as with previous cross-faction play, if you have a BattleNet friendship with a guild member or membership in a cross-faction community, you can also be invited to join that guild as a member of another faction.
Accessibility and more freedom for beginners
What’s the point? The advantages are apparent. A cross-faction guild offers the same benefits as a regular guild, primarily shared guild chat, shared guild resources, and generally improved activity planning and the fluffy sense of togetherness.
With a cross-faction guild, you have the additional advantage that you no longer have to set up a duplicate guild with your twinks on the other side in order to use the guild advantages there as well. Since patch 10.1, you can simply act with all your heroes in the same guild.
More freedom for everyone: However, the biggest advantage of the new guild mechanics is the elimination of hurdles and obstacles. This is especially useful for new players. If you had a lot of friends in the alliance but preferred to play the robust Horde yourself, you couldn’t hang out with your buddies in the same guild. Now every orc is welcome. The forced division of the player base into two competing camps has thus been further softened and you have many more options to play the game the way you want.

What do you have to consider? However, the World of Warcraft is not entirely peace and joy pancakes. There are still separate quests for Horde and Alliance and those who want to fight each other can still do so. If you’re out in the open world and don’t form a party, you still won’t play together.
The same goes for war mode, there the orc and human are still enemies.
