The research is a collaboration between Leiden University and Ouwehands Zoo. Visitors to the animal park in Rhenen can see two screens in the orangutan enclosure. One screen is a touch screen, the other screen has special cameras that register eye movements. In this way, the researchers measure processes such as attention, memory and arousal.
