Orange is launching Orange Home Services, a new service to help its customers better benefit from their digital installation, starting with the installation and optimization of Wi-Fi and the management of moves.
In recent times, Orange has continued to increase innovations and deploy new services – it is necessary to compensate for the successive increases in subscriptions. Thus, the historic operator deployed its Satellite Internet offer, significantly strengthened its Orange Telephone anti-spam tool and even set up a new collaborative portal, Orange Cybersecure, which allows any Internet user to check if a link is malicious. Nothing seems to be able to stop him!
This time he announces, in A press release, the launch of the Orange Home Services service. It is a subsidiary with SASU status (simplified single-member joint stock company) which offers “tailor-made support, at home, for all those who wish to make their daily digital lives easier”. Initially, two services will be offered: Wi-Fi Performance and Personalized Moving, both eligible for a tax credit.
Orange Home Services: improve Wi-Fi installation and make moving easier
With the first service, Performance Wi-Fi (spelled “Performance Wifi”), a technician comes to the customer’s home to review their entire Wi-Fi installation and optimize it as best as possible, adapting to their home, their uses and needs. It is priced at €199 and is eligible for a €99.50 tax credit, as part of the personal services system.
The second service, Personalized Moving, aims to facilitate the restart of its customers’ digital lives. It involves bringing a technician to your home to reinstall and reconfigure all the equipment and connected objects in the home (computers, tablets, smartphones, printers, etc.), and install Wi-Fi in the event of a move. He will take the opportunity to train the customer so that he can implement less energy-intensive use of his equipment. This service is priced at €299, with €149.50 tax credit.
For both services, a “coach” contacts the customer by telephone to prepare for the technician’s intervention. For thirty days after the latter has passed, it is possible to contact this coach by SMS or telephone to answer any questions or additional needs.
