Oppo is launching into folding smartphones. The Chinese brand unveiled this week its Find N. Pete Lau, CEO of Oppo, spoke to praise the prowess of his device: ” we solved the main issues with previous folding smartphones like screen bending and device durability by inventing the best hinge and screen design yet. The similarities with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are numerous, but the Oppo Find N stands out above all for its size. Folded, it is roughly the size of an iPhone mini and reaches 7.1 inches when deployed. It will be available in China from December 23. We hope that it will arrive in Europe within a reasonable time.
A smartphone that holds a charge for nearly a week, it may be soon. IBM and Samsung are currently working on new chips. A new process, consisting of vertically stacking certain components, would save space and produce a chip that is twice as efficient as it consumes less energy. Therefore, according to IBM, some smartphones could reach 7 days of autonomy.
