In July 2023, Oppo had to withdraw from sales in Germany due to a conflict with one of its competitors. Fearing the same consequences as during its trial in Germany, the brand chose to stop the sale of its products in France. Through a press release addressed to the media during the day of June 13, 2024, the BBK Electronics firm formalized its return to the European scene and more particularly to the French market: “ We view our presence in France as a commitment to long-term success », explains Bingo Liu, boss of Oppo Europe. And what could be better than a launch of new smartphones to mark its return!
This is what was clarified once again Bingo Liu in the details of his press release. For the occasion, a brand new range should soon join the smartphone catalog: the Reno 12 series. Its European launch is scheduled for June 18, after its announcement on the Chinese market in May.
