We haven’t seen anything official yet, but Evan Blass’ past rhetoric gives us confidence on this one. Camera island is back and more prominent than ever. The Hasselblad logo has been slightly raised and above Oppohas a faded “co-engineering” label to make it clear that you are an equal partner in this relationship. To that end, a newly arrived periscope lens also has a “Powered by MariSilicon” label. The regular X5 used a traditional 2x tele lens, the X6 gets an upgrade based on its looks. This has led some to think the image shows the X6 Pro, but according to the leak source, that’s not the case.
Assuming this is indeed the Oppo Find X6 and the rumors are true, the main camera should have a 1” sensor (50MP), alongside a 50MP ultra-wide module and a 32MP periscope camera. Also, this model should be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (Pro will come with Gen 2).
We don’t have an official release date yet for the Find X6 series and it may take some time. The Oppo Inno Day event starts tomorrow and will feature the Find N2 foldables. The original Find N was announced in mid-December, while the Find X5 series was announced at the end of February.
