Opinion poll: Trump leads Biden in key states

According to the polls, it is dissatisfaction with the way the sitting Democratic president is managing the US economy as well as concern about his old age, Biden turns 81 later in November, that is behind Biden’s unpopularity.

The measurements have been made on behalf of the New York Times by Siena College. They show that 77-year-old Trump, who is the favorite to win the Republican Party’s nomination process, has a lead in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada and Pennsylvania.

Leading in key states

Biden, who does not yet have a challenger for the post of the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, is leading in Wisconsin, according to the polls.

According to Reuters, Trump leads the polls with an average of 48 to 44 percent in the six states. The electors from these so-called “Swing states” – which sometimes vote republican, sometimes democratic – have several times made the decision in even presidential elections.

In the 2020 election, Biden defeated Trump in all six, victories that also gave him the presidency.
