In the Comoros, the government strongly criticized the opposition which had previously pointed the finger at the management of the Wuambushu affair led by France to demolish houses in Mayotte and expel Comorians deemed to be in an irregular situation on the island. A complaint was even filed by one of the opposition members with the Supreme Court to demand the dismissal of President Azali Assoumani for high treason.
