(Finance) – OpenAIa company supported by Microsoft who developed the ChatGPT chatbot, has acquired Rockset, a real-time analytics database service that provides data indexing and querying capabilities. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Rockset enables users, developers and businesses to make better use of your data and access real-time information as they use AI products and build smarter applications, it said in a statement.
OpenAI intends integrate Rockset technology to enhance its recovery infrastructure across all products and members of Rockset’s world-class team will join OpenAI.
“Rockset’s infrastructure enables companies to transform their data into actionable insights. We are excited to bring these benefits to our customers by integrating Rockset’s foundations into OpenAI products,” he said Brad Lightcap, COO of OpenAI.
