(Finance) – The optical fiber of Open Fiber she also arrived at Castell’Arquato. Families, professionals and businesses can already access the best connectivity available on the market, starting today with an extra opportunity: win a gift voucher thanks to the initiative “Open Fiber the choice that rewards you”. The ultra-fast network available today in Castell’Arquato reaches 2,833 real estate units through the FTTH technology (Fiber-to-the-home, the optical fiber extended inside buildings), the only solution capable of guaranteeing connection speeds of 10 Gigabits per second. This is a strategic investment for the digitalisation of the territory which does not burden the budget of the Municipality concerned. The technological infrastructure, in fact, was financed with regional and state funds as part of the Ultra Broadband Plan (BUL) managed by Infratel Italia, a company of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, with the coordination of the Emilia-Romagna Region. The new network is and will remain public property.
“Thanks to the FTTH network and the Open Fiber cabling project, Castell’Arquato is now equipped with an ultra broadband network capable of delivering ever-increasing volumes of data traffic, allowing for fast and enabling use of connections for smart working , streaming of HD content, online purchases and remote access to public administration services”, he says Manuel Balestra, Regional Manager of Open Fiber in Emilia-Romagna.
All residential users of Castell’Arquato who activate an ultra-fast connection through Open Fiber partner operators by 31 January 2025 will be able to receive a 100 euro voucher to be converted into an Amazon.it Gift Voucher, a MediaWorld gift card or a good fuel. The deadline for requesting prizes is March 31, 2025.
