At an earlier meeting in October, Opec+ agreed to cut production by 2 million barrels per day. That reduction has not yet taken full effect, and therefore they are now choosing to wait with further changes.
Opec+ has now had a digital meeting on Sunday, which was over in just 20 minutes.
Right now, there is a lot of uncertainty around oil demand, as new sanctions against Russia are rolled out, and demand from China is hard to gauge due to covid shutdowns that may be easing.
