Due to a mistake, Pokémon GO briefly distributed two coveted legendary Pokémon: black and white Kyurem.
This is what trainers report: As players from the Pokémon GO community report on Reddit and Twitter, among others, you could get the black and white Kyurem in Pokémon GO for a short time.
They were distributed as rewards in the PvP battle league – even though the two powerful forms are not actually in the game yet. So far there is only the normal, but weaker form of Kyurem in Pokémon GO.

Of course, trainers were extremely surprised when they suddenly encountered the new Kyurem forms as a reward. But unfortunately it quickly became clear: That wasn’t planned.
Niantic corrects errors – This is what the developers of Pokémon GO say about Kyurem
This is how Niantic reacts: Niantic Support responded in a post on X.com (formerly Twitter). It says that these two Pokémon were unintentional and that the error has now been fixed. Accordingly, they cannot be found in the Battle League or anywhere else in the game.
Niantic also writes that it wants to look at the origin of the error, check further steps and apologizes for the “confusion and circumstances”.
This is what the players say: In the comments, some players report that they wish the monsters would just be released now – because they want to catch them too. Others write that this would have been a great motivation for them to compete in the PvP league.
But that’s not surprising, as Kyurem’s two forms are two very long-awaited Pokémon. In the main games, they are created when Kyurem fuses with the other legendary Pokémon Zekrom or Reshiram. In these forms, Kyurem is one of the Pokémon with the highest attack values of all.
