Anton Lundell and Eetu Luostarinen managed to score in Florida Panthers’ victory. Ville Husso made the save for Detroit in a win over the Anaheim Ducks.
Florida Panthers Anton Lundell didn’t time out in the Hockey League NHL game against the New York Islanders, but scored the game’s opening goal after only 39 seconds of play. The goal was preceded by a handsome exploit of the Islanders From Adam Pelech and a shot from a small angle past the goalkeeper Semyon Varlamov.
Lundell, 21, had already waited five games for the first hit of his second NHL season.
– Really nice. This was the first, so there is only one way forward, Lundell commented on the NHL’s website.
Eetu Luostarinen hit home team Panthers 2–0 lead in the tenth minute of the game. The Finnish forward, who scored an assist in Florida’s 3–1 goal, has collected 2+3 power points in six matches of the season.
Florida won the match 3–2. Last season’s regular season winner Florida has won four games this season and is third in the NHL’s eastern division.
Finnish goalie of the Detroit Red Wings Ville Husso saved the Michigan team’s 5–1 home win against the Anaheim Ducks. Husso made 32 saves in the match and collected the puck behind his back only after Trevor Zegras’ 1-1 equalizer. Playing for Detroit Olli Määttä got a good 17 minutes of playing time.
Striker Kaapo Kako represented by the New York Rangers suffered a 1-5 loss at home to the Columbus Blue Jackets. The second played just under 19 minutes in the match.
