If you still have the Olympic blues and are nostalgic, precious souvenirs are soon on sale at low prices.
The Paris 2024 Olympic Games have created real excitement around the world and particularly in France. From the opening ceremony to the competitions over 15 days without forgetting the Paralympic Games which also caused great enthusiasm, this enchanted interlude will leave memories for a large number of people.
But for those who were unable to benefit from this popular success, Paris 2024 has decided to set up several clearance sales throughout France to offer a second life to many objects and equipment used during the Olympics. This will be the case for the first time in Paris, Saturday October 12, all day, on the square in front of the city hall. And if we look at the videos on social networks of the first clearance sales, everyone is there and the items are going very quickly.
In detail, you can find numerous items of clothing such as the famous uniforms of the volunteers who caused a sensation during the Olympics, or those of the officials. You will also find t-shirts for between 5 and 10 euros, cups for 1 euro or even towels used by athletes for 25 euros. If you have a little luck, you may be able to come across one of the towels of the Olympic medalists and in particular of the French team like Léon Marchand, Teddy Riner, Florent Manaudou or even the players of the team of France volleyball.
For the more materialistic, decorative elements of the sites, flags and even products from all the ceremonies (opening and closing) will also be on sale. But there are many other surprise products that you can discover by going there.
For the price range, these products will all be sold between 1 euro and 60 euros, this maximum being reserved for the most “exceptional” objects as indicated on the Paris 2024 website. These souvenirs will be sold as is and are intended for personal use, with no commercial or financial vocation for resale.
There are still several dates left all over France: October 12 in Paris (City Hall) on the occasion of the Open Days of the City Hall, Rennes (Esplanade Charles De Gaulle) on the occasion of the Tout event. Rennes Court, Reims (Esplanade Porte de Mars) on the occasion of the Champagne Run; on October 13 in Vichy (Parc du Soleil), Verny (Academos) on the occasion of the Académos open days, Carcassonne (Stade Albert Domec), Montpellier (Promenade du Peyrou), Châteauroux (Place de la République). Another edition will take place in Nice and will be announced soon…
