Nearly 16 per cent of Sarnia voters had cast ballots in the municipal election as of 4 pm Friday, says city hall.
A total of 8,498 voters – 15.79 per cent of those eligible – had filled out ballots online, at that time, the city said in a news release.
Online voting continues until 8 pm Monday.
A Voter Help Centre, equipped with online voting kiosks, will be open on the first floor of City Hall from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Saturday and Sunday, and from 8:30 am to 8 pm Monday.

In-person voting using paper ballots will take place Monday 10 am to 8 pm at nine voting locations in the city. Information is available online at www.sarnia.ca/InPersonVoting.
Sarnia Transit is offering free bus service Monday to help voters get to voting locations.
