Province of Utrecht – The number of people being treated for gambling addiction has been increasing again in recent years. This is evident from figures from the Houtense Stichting Informatievoorziening Zorg (IVZ). Although online gambling is prohibited for minors, one in fifteen secondary school students has done so in the past year. “We are getting more and more phone calls from young people,” says Marco Smit of Stichting AGOG.
