One year after Mahsa Amini’s death – that’s how it is in Iran now

A year ago, 22-year-old Mahsa Amini was beaten to death by the so-called “morality police” in Iran – because she did not wear her veil correctly. There have been many demonstrations since then, which according to some have yielded results.

“Recently, I haven’t seen anyone bother or say whether someone wears a veil or not,” says “Shaghaigh” who lives in Iran.
