Two cars have collided at an intersection outside Herrljunga.
A person who traveled in one car was taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter.
– We are still at the scene and the road is completely closed, says Caroline Karlsson, the police’s spokesperson in the West region.
The collision occurred at an intersection between county road 182 and county road 185 where there is a duty to stop.
– One person was traveling in the one car, that person has been taken by ambulance helicopter to hospital, I have no update on the exact state of injury for that person, says Caroline Karlsson.
There were four people in the other car. The driver probably has a broken arm, the others in the car are said to be unharmed.
The road is completely closed and traffic will be affected for some time.
– We are still at the scene and the road is completely closed. They are waiting for salvagers who will pick up both cars so that they can undergo a technical examination, says Caroline Karlsson.
A preliminary investigation into gross negligence in traffic has been initiated.
