The fire started in a basement and rescue services were alerted to the scene by a person who was in the property.
– There was heavy smoke development when we arrived and it had started to burn a little in the facade via a basement window, says Mats Rydberg, internal commander of the Rescue Service West.
The fire was extinguished after half an hour, but the firefighters remained for a few more hours to break up the floor and floor in search of more possible fires. At six o’clock in the morning, a couple of firefighters were still there.
