This time it’s the right one. The Ministry of the Economy has announced that the one-stop shop for businesses has been 100% functional since June 30. Opened on January 1, 2023, the Internet portal had chained delays and anomalies, triggering the anger of professionals. Bercy claims to have corrected the situation. “The changes made to the counter both technically and ergonomically have already borne fruit, so that the processing time for formalities has improved,” he said in a press release.
The one-stop shop is supposed to facilitate the administrative procedures for companies. Provided for by the Pacte law of 2019, it replaces the six networks of business formalities centers (CCI, Urssaf, chambers of trades and crafts, agriculture, etc.). All structures, regardless of their legal form (sole proprietorship, microenterprise, public limited company, etc.) or their field (artisanal, commercial, liberal, agricultural, etc.), are required to register there. The counter, entirely dematerialized, is managed by the National Institute of Industrial Property (Inpi).
Infogreffe, maintained until the end of the year
Companies can use it to declare their creation, modification or cessation of activity. These last two steps were so far particularly difficult to perform on the platform. Professionals, such as chartered accountants and auditors, had reported numerous anomalies. If the problem is solved today, Bercy has anticipated alternatives in the event of complications. Modifications and cessations of activity may “continue to be made via Infogreffe or in paper format” until the end of the year, he indicated.
With regard to the one-stop shop, the procedures can be carried out by the business manager himself, by an employee appointed as delegate or by an agent. The declarant must create a user account during his first connection. He is then responsible for entering the information and attaching supporting documents. The process can be saved and resumed later, specifies the government site. Once the declaration has been submitted, it is possible to consult its progress on the dashboard.
Since January 1, 700,000 formalities have been filed at the one-stop shop, notes Bercy. More specifically, this concerns 630,000 creations, 60,000 account deposits, 30,000 cessations of activity and 4,000 modifications of natural persons.
