Netflix will soon launch a live action series adapting the bestselling novel “One Piece”. For the time being, the streaming platform has unveiled the first visuals, but still little information on the project.
Take a seat aboard the Vogue Merry! Series netflix in live action One Piece finally unfolds. The streaming platform has already unveiled a first visual of this highly anticipated program for fans of Eiichiro Oda’s manga, in which we can see Monkey D. Luffy from behind. We therefore do not (yet) see the head of its interpreter, Iñaki Godoy, in the Straw Hat costume, but Netflix confirms with this visual that the series will be released during the year 2023.
Series One Piece from Netflix will tell the adventures of the Straw Hat crew for the first time with actors playing the protagonists, after several adaptations in series and animated films. In the casting, we therefore find the Mexican actor Iñaki Godoy (The Imperfects) as Luffy, Mackenyu (Wanderer Kenshin) in that of Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd (Fear Street) will portray Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson (Greenleaf) is Usopp and Taz Skylar (The Chef, The Deal) will portray Sanji. The overall plot of this series is not yet known.
