One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon near Tavistock, provincial police say.
Emergency crews responded to the collision on Line 29 at Road 111 in the Township of Perth East just after 12:30 pm Monday, Perth OPP said.
One person was freed from a passenger vehicle that rolled after colliding with a commercial vehicle.
That individual, whom police have not identified, was taken to hospital, where they died, police said. Nobody else was injured.
The area around Line 29 and Road 111 remained closed Monday for the investigation. Police are asking motorists not to drive through the road closed signs.
