At half past two there was an alarm about the development of smoke and flames in a villa in Falun. The police assisted the emergency services during the extinguishing work.
In the afternoon it was announced that a person had been loaded into an ambulance. An arson report was drawn up in order to investigate the cause of the fire.
Later on Tuesday evening, the police state that one person, a man, has been found dead after the fire. The next of kin have been informed.
