Before the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there were some superhero movies in the early to mid ’00s that nobody wants to talk about these days. This also includes Elektra with Jennifer Garner, which is one of the worst films in the genre. ProSieben will broadcast the flop from Friday to Saturday night.

Elektra is a superhero flop that failed completely
Garner first played the superheroine in 2003 opposite Ben Affleck in Daredevil. After that, she got her own solo film, Elektra, about the ninja assassin who has to fight her client to survive.

Deadpool 3 is set to bring Elektra back after almost 20 years
There will still be a comeback for the failed superheroine. As reported by the Hollywood Reporter in July 2023, Garner will once again play Elektra in the upcoming Deadpool sequel.
The Ryan Reynolds blockbuster will probably be a big multiverse event, which brings together many different characters from different comic universes. Hugh Jackman also returns as Wolverine for Deadpool 3.
Elektra runs at night from August 25 to August 26, 2023 at 1:40 a.m. on ProSieben. Deadpool 3 is slated to hit theaters on May 1, 2024.
