In the near future, animal cloning will be legal, but human replication will still be illegal. Charter pilot Adam Gibson (Schwarzenegger) is all the more surprised when he faces himself in his own living room. The powerful entrepreneur Drucker (Tony Goldwyn) copied him without his knowledge and now wants to get rid of the original.

Sci-fi fans will recognize the story parallels to Schwarzenegger’s Total Recall, albeit way ahead of its late imitation 10 years earlier. Various critics panned the film (via Metacritic ), it flopped at the box office (via Box Office Mojo ).

But that’s not all: The organizers of the Golden Raspberry cheekily nominated Schwarzenegger’s The 6th Day performance three times: for his original role, for his clone role and for worst screen pairing. But even here the film ended empty-handed.
