Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will be one big goodbye. Director James Gunn wants to finish the story of the Marvel astronauts for now. Dave Bautista wants to bury his beloved MCU goon Drax forever, according to Variety.
And then one of the heroes in the film is supposed to die. The new trailer already shows the emotional impact the fans have to face.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – Trailer 2 (English) HD
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is getting more dangerous than ever for the Marvel astronauts
This is perhaps not surprising, given that you take a closer look at the Guardians’ opponents in Part 3. Not only do they mess with the supposedly perfect human Adam Warlock (Will Poulter). Rather, with his boss, the so-called High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji), a Thanos-level villain against them. And he knows more about the Space Troupe than they care to know.
As the first trailer for the film indicated, Rocket (Bradley Cooper) has a common past with the bully. It’s likely that the megalomaniac scientist experimentally endowed the raccoon with his special abilities.
When is Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in cinemas?
Exactly how the reunion between the raccoon and the scientist will end will become clear when the film opens in cinemas at the latest. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is scheduled for May 3, 2023 come to the cinema.
