Critics speak for themselves and for no one else. At least that’s how it seems when the gap between fan opinion and professional opinion widens, as in the action-cracker shooter. The passion of the fans has the film with Mark Wahlberg almost out of nowhere #2 on the Netflix charts.

Only in the company of his dog does he retire to the mountains until Colonel Johnson (Danny Glover) asks him to protect the US President during the election campaign. But after a bloody assassination Swaggers himself is targeted by the government.
Shooter has a bad reputation when it comes to criticism
As shown by Rotten Tomatoes, among others, critics and fans do not agree on the assessment of the shooter. While many critics complain about the holey script, the community celebrates the film for its many iconic scenes. It doesn’t matter if they tell a particularly logical story or not.

Shooter comes from veteran director Antoine Fuqua, who had worked with Training Day delivered a true masterpiece. In addition to Wahlberg and Glover, Michael Peña (Extinction) and Kate Mara (Fantastic Four) can be seen in front of the camera.
