Thirteen Lives is coming to Amazon as a star-studded mega-drama based on true events. Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell and Joel Edgerton fight for the lives of several young people there. The breathless first trailer indicates how captivating the thriller drama could be.

Because there the experienced divers Rick Stanton (Mortensen), John Volanthen (Farrell) and Harry Harris (Edgerton), rescue a young football team from a flooded cave in Thailand. As the clock ticks, the public and characters like General Anupong (Vithaya Pansringarm) join forces to save the day.

The drama is based on true events. In 2018, 12 youths and their trainer were rescued from Tham Luang Nang Non Cave after the monsoon rains trapped them there. Director guru Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind) is responsible for the implementation of the story.

When is Thirteen Lives coming to Amazon Prime Video?

Streaming subscribers will soon find out just how gripping the drama is. Thirteen life is supposed to be on August 5, 2022 appear on Amazon Prime Video. The screenplay was written, among others, by William Nicholson (Gladiator).
