The Elden Ring DLC brings a whole truckload of new weapons into the game. Among them is one that does a lot of damage – provided you know how to use it.

Special attention is paid to an inconspicuous perfume bottle that doesn’t look like a weapon at first glance. After all, most of you don’t associate perfume with fighting, dying, resurrecting – the eternal cycle of Elden Ring.
But the harmless appearance of the small bottles should not be misleading. As the content creator SYROBE shows in a video on YouTube, the bottles have a lot to offer.

The bosses have little chance against perfume
Why is the weapon so powerful? There are a total of five different perfume bottles to be found in the DLC. For the build that the YouTuber shows in a video, he uses the lightning perfume bottle.
He combines this with the war ash “Rolling Sparks”. This ensures that the explosions from the bottle are fired in a line in front of the character, thus significantly increasing the range.
However, if you aim it at the ground, the explosions will stack on top of each other and cause an impressive amount of damage. The build also uses other talismans and equipment that increase the damage even further.
Combined, this ensures that the expansion’s bosses die within seconds. Even the final opponent of Shadow of the Erdtree only lasts about 13 seconds against the build.

Does this also work in the main game? The answer is yes. All weapons from the DLC can also be used in the main game, and will probably work even more effectively there. After all, the expansion is significantly harder than the rest in terms of difficulty.
However, FromSoftware has already announced balance patches. It is possible that the deadly perfume bottle will be adjusted and will no longer be quite as powerful. The last patch, however, made the game easier – probably also because numerous user reviews were dissatisfied.
