Barry masterfully vacillates between elements of drama, thriller and comedy, which completely unexpected shape appear in history. Sometimes the crazy mix with its shocking twists is even reminiscent of Breaking Bad. And in Bill Hader, she has a fantastic leading man to offer.

Barry’s premise is as absurd as it is ingenious: the eponymous hero, played by Hader, hires himself out as a contract killer, albeit with little enthusiasm. Barry would love to change subjects and his passion for acting let loose. When he meets a theater group, his life finally seems to take a turn for the better.

However, it doesn’t take long for Barry caught up by his past becomes. Between stirring theater rehearsals and creepy encounters with gangsters, the series finds an extremely unusual path through a story that probably won’t be seen on television anytime soon. Unfortunately, Barry season 4 is also the last. Five more episodes await us in the coming weeks.
