One of the best shooter players on Twitch wants to donate for every kill for a month – and that will probably be really expensive

The Twitch streamer shroud donates money to the charity at a big event on Twitch. After just a short time he had over 50,000 euros in his donation account.

  • The Twitch streamer Michael “shroud” Grzesiek is known for his gifted aim. For many genre fans, he is considered a kind of shooter god because he shoots with above-average precision in every shooter.

    What kind of charity is this? shroud launched a new event on Twitch on January 5th that he calls the “Fragathon.” He donates money for every elimination he achieves in a shooter during the stream in January. The dollar-per-kill multiplier can be increased through Twitch subs and donations.

    On January 6th, the second day of the event, the donation account was around 50,000 euros. At that point, the dollar-per-kill multiplier increased to 5x.

    shroud’s donation account is now at around 83,000 US dollars, i.e. almost 80,000 euros (as of January 7, 2025, 11:00 a.m.). The kill counter in shroud’s stream currently shows a good 11,900 eliminations.

    Since January is still a few days away and shroud wants to stream every day, the amount in the donation account is expected to increase significantly.

    What is the money donated for? shroud reported in the event announcement video that he lost his father to lung cancer in 2023 and that he would like to use the money to support people in similar situations.
