Are you even remotely interested in series? Then you can’t get past one of the best series of the last two years. We are of course talking about the fantastic crime comedy Only Murders in the Building, which ensnares Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez as true crime podcasters in complex murder cases and boasts a lot of wit and heart.
Now it’s finally going on. Since August 8 are the first two episodes of season 3 available on Disney+*. The remaining eight episodes follow weekly, always on Tuesdays. These surprise with concentrated star power and the double murder of a Marvel hero.
Only Murders in the Building on Disney+ delights in season 3 with Hollywood icon and Marvel star
In Only Murders in the Building, a shared fascination with true crime podcasts brings together theater genius Oliver (Short), forgotten TV star Charles (Martin) and millennial Mabel (Gomez). Since murders are common in their New York apartment complex, they become podcast detectives themselves. The focus is not only on weird murder cases and quirky suspects, but also on the touching friendship of the three main characters.

In season 3, the podcast trio now receives prominent support from well-known stars. Newcomers include Hollywood legend Meryl Streep, Marvel Ant-Man Paul Rudd, Ashley Park (Emily in Paris) and Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy). Rudd in particular plays a major role in the new episodes. The murder of his character has to be solved.

Paul Rudd plays the arrogant actor Ben Gilroy, who stars in the play “Death Rattle,” which is being directed by Oliver on Broadway. At the premiere, however, the star collapses and appears to have been poisoned. But the series surprises with a twist. Ben, believed dead, survives – only to fall down an elevator shaft to be murdered again.
Of course, the theater ensemble brings with it a few suspects that the chaos trio has to scrutinize very closely in order to find the murderer. And what Meryl Streep as an unsuccessful (!) actress Loretta Durkin has to do with all of this? Find out for yourself in Season 3 on Disney+.
