One of the best series became a mega success on the streaming service, but the star got nothing

Breaking Bad is considered one of the best series of the last 15 years. The AMC production developed into a mega hit. Paul, like Bryan Cranston and other Breaking Bad colleagues, is taking part in the actors’ and writers’ strike in Hollywood. According to The Independent report, he vented his anger in a speech:

I’m not getting a penny from Netflix for Breaking Bad. It’s totally insane. Many streaming services know they’ve gotten away with not paying people fairly so far. And now it’s time to admit it.

New fee models for the streaming era are one of the main demands of the strikers. In many cases, the payment of the actors is not linked to the streaming success of a series, although the platform benefits enormously from this.
