When an attack in the port of New Orleans claims 543 lives, local ATF agent Carlin (Denzel Washington) is supposed to clarify the monstrous act. The investigators use the most modern technology, which initially appears to Carlin like a 3D simulation of thousands of surveillance images.
Shocked, he finally realizes that it is about looking into a temporal wormhole, with which he can possibly prevent the catastrophe even though it has already happened.

Like many films by genre veteran Tony Scott, Déjà Vu is far too unknown. Washington delivers a masterful performance, the tension never lets up and the atmosphere of the sci-fi thriller is so claustrophobic, as if the fate of the entire world depended on Carlin’s investigation.
