Nine years ago he addressed the question artistic intelligence and created the captivating chamber drama Ex Machina starring Alicia Vikander, Domhnall Gleeson and Oscar Isaac. Tonight you can watch the film on TV, which is worth seeing. It feels more realistic with each passing day.

Garland directs the film very elegantly and seduces us with his pictures, so that we feel like the protagonist. At first the fascination prevails, later the horror. What’s exciting is how Garland approaches the topic of artificial intelligence and what perspectives he takes on it (not just that of humans).
