One of the best Samsung QLED TVs is now cheaper

The Samsung QN95C was last year the best QLED TV with 4K in the range of the South Korean company. Its bright NEO QLED display with mini-LED lighting is impressive across the board and makes the television a serious alternative to OLED TVs. You can now get it at the best price on Amazon.

If 55 inches is too small for you, you can also get the 65-inch version * on offer. If you want to get an overview of the best TVs in every price range, I recommend the extensive TV buying guide from our colleagues at GameStar Tech.

It doesn’t always have to be OLED: Samsung QN95C

4K TVs with mini-LED backlighting and full array local dimming come very close to the perfect contrasts and natural colors of OLED TVs. There are also other advantages of the QN95C:

The brightness and especially the peak brightness is extremely high – so high that not even the best OLEDs can keep up. Up to 2,000 nits are achieved. Firstly, this is great if you want to watch TV in daylight, and secondly, effects in HDR are shown off even better. This could be, for example, the muzzle flash in an action film or the flash of a spell in Harry Potter.

The Samsung QLED is very good anti-reflectivewhich is a huge advantage, especially during the day. You don’t have to pull down the shutters or close the curtains every time.

Also the viewing angle is extremely stablewhich means that you still have a good picture from the side. This means you can invite your friends to a football or movie night without anyone having to make any compromises.

Top equipment leaves little to be desired

Let’s get to the technical part. As befits a premium TV, you get four HDMI 2.1 with 120 HzALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) are also included for smooth gaming. The input delay is also very low, which is an advantage especially for fast games.

As usual with Samsung, HLG, HDR10 and HDR10+ supported, Dolby Vision is still not available. That’s a bit of a shame, as Dolby Vision is used in many Netflix productions and some films on Blu-ray. Nevertheless, the picture looks great even without Dolby Vision.

The Smart TV system shines with a huge selection of appswhich only a few competitors can keep up with. However, the operation is a matter of taste and the One Remote cannot keep up with the ingenious Magic Remote from LG.

For around 1,000 euros, it will be difficult to get a better 55-inch TV at the moment. If you would rather have an OLED TV, we advise you to wait until Prime Day, as there could be some great deals then.
