One of the best role-playing games on Steam is actually “finished”, gets free DLC with 2 new classes

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is not only a really good role-playing game for Steam and consoles, it is also extremely comprehensive and essentially “fully” developed. Nevertheless, the developers at Owlcat are now providing a free DLC.

What is this DLC for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous? All owners of the role-playing game from Owlcat Games can now download the DLC called “Visitors from Morta”. This is a crossover with the role-playing game “Children of Morta”, which was developed by Dead Mage and also has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam.

In the DLC you will meet the two characters John and Lucy from “Children of Morta”, and with them corruption also penetrates the world of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. The new features of the free content package include:

  • New location
  • Two new archetypes with unique animations and spells, specially designed for John and Lucy (you will also have access to the archetypes when creating new characters)
  • A new female hairstyle for Lucy and in the character editor
  • Unique enemies infected with corruption
  • A new quest in which you have to rescue guests from another world and bring them home

    • The new quest is available at the beginning of Chapter 2, before the Hellknights arrive at the camp, or at any time during Chapters 3 and 5 – from Anevia or Arsinoe. You can find the new location near Kenabres on the map.

    What do I need to know about Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous? The 2021 role-playing game is the quasi-sequel to Pathfinder-Kingmaker and comes from the studio that released the equally strong Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader last year.

    All three role-playing games have several things in common: They rely on a rather old-school, text-heavy presentation, are enormously extensive and wonderfully complex.     And what about Children of Morta? CoM is an action role-playing game based on a rogue-lite foundation and lets you control the various members of an extraordinary family of heroes. You fight your way through procedurally generated dungeons and lands, either solo or in co-op with friends.

    There is no permadeath. Instead, your entire family gains strength through your playthroughs, with each family member bringing different skills. Similar to Pathfinder, development is complete here too. In addition to the main game, the developers offer smaller DLCs; the entire package is currently available for 26.07 euros on Steam.
